Minimum Wages in Delhi hiked by 15% Minimum Monhtly Wages in India:
The Delhi government Wednesday hiked the minimum monthly wages for skilled and unskilled labourers by 15 percent in view of inflation.
The minimum monthly wages decision was taken at a cabinet meeting headed by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. The revised rates will be effective from Feb 1.
  • The minimum wages for unskilled workers have been hiked to Rs.203 per day to Rs.234 per day from.
  • The minimum wages for semi-skilled workers have been increased from Rs.225 per day to Rs.259.
  • Skilled workers' daily minimum wages have been increased from Rs.248 to Rs.285.
  • The daily minimum wages of non-matriculate workers have been hiked Rs.225, to Rs.259.
  • The minimum wages of matriculates have been hiked from Rs.248 per day to Rs.285.
  • The minimum wages for workers with graduation degree and above have been increased from Rs.270 per day to Rs.310 per day.
