The good: Thin, compact design than the previous Kindle, improved screen with better contrast and faster page turns, native PDF support, extensive library of hundreds of thousands of e-books, newspapers, magazines and blogs through Family Amazon online store, Wi-Fi access to online store Amazon, built-in keyboard for notes, with 4 GB (3.3 usable) of internal memory, can store 3,500 e-books, eight sources available, including two new extra large size, battery life excellent sample image files and audio, MP3 and AAC.
The bad: No expansion slot for adding more memory, no support for EPUB data files, no protective case included; battery is sealed in the device and is not removable.
The Review: The winning combination of the third generation of Kindle significant improvement - an improved screen, better battery life, lighter weight and lower price - vaulted to the top of the category of e-book reader.

Amazon's third major iteration of its reading device flagship, the Kindle, leaving the door looking strong: the new graphite finish (like its big brother, the Kindle DX) with a thinner form factor lighter, a refresh rate of your screen beaten by E Ink. Best of all, the 3G and WiFi readers only just lower prices (though still not exactly bargain basement).
We have spent the last few days putting the smaller Kindle through the steps to see how Amazon is better. Although the market is flooded with readers increasingly cheaper, the Kindle is definitely still the brand leader in the field, and Amazon is already promoting the third best selling model as usual - though still no figures sales to be had.
